Meet & greet at Marrakech Airport and private transfer to the mountain village of Imlil (1,740m), the gateway to the Toubkal region.
Check-in at Gîte Atlas Mazzik, a peaceful guesthouse with panoramic views.
Transfer time: 1.5–2 hours.
Start your trek through the Imlil Valley and ascend steadily to Tizi n’Tamatert Pass (2,279m).
After a short break, descend past Ouaneskar village and continue to Tacheddirt for your first night of camping next to the river.
Walking time: ~5 hours.
A challenging ascent leads you to Tizi Likemt Pass (3,555m), offering stunning views over the Toubkal range.
Descend into the remote valley of Azib Likemt and set up camp for the night.
Walking time: ~6 hours.
Today’s route showcases a mix of rugged and lush landscapes.
Climb to Tizi n’Ououraine Pass (3,120m) for exceptional views of Toubkal’s summit and the Ifni Dome.
Descend to the beautiful Berber village of Amsouzert and stay in a simple guesthouse.
Walking time: 6–7 hours.
Walk through several small villages before reaching Ifni Lake, the only natural lake in the High Atlas.
Surrounded by dramatic peaks and silence, it’s the perfect spot to relax.
Overnight: Camping by the lake.
Walking time: ~4 hours.
One of the toughest days on the circuit.
Climb a steep scree slope toward Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,664m), a narrow and impressive pass between towering cliffs.
Descend zigzagging paths to reach Toubkal Refuge (Nelter Hut).
Early morning ascent to the highest peak in North Africa.
Enjoy breathtaking 360° views stretching across the Atlas Mountains and the distant plains.
Return to the refuge for a second night.
Walking time: 5–6 hours.
Climb up to Tizi n’Ouaghlzim Pass (3,600m) for a spectacular panoramic view of the High Atlas.
Continue down to Tamsoulte Refuge for the night.
Walking time: 6–7 hours.
Descend to the lush Azzaden Valley, famous for its terraced fields and Berber villages.
Climb toward Tizi Oudid Pass (2,300m) before reaching the scenic Matat Plateau for camping.
Walking time: ~6 hours.
A gentle descent back to Imlil through beautiful landscapes.
Celebrate the completion of your High Atlas journey at Gîte Atlas Mazzik.
Walking time: ~4 hours.
Return to Marrakech and enjoy a free day visiting the medina, traditional hammams, museums, or relaxing at your riad.
Another full day to discover iconic spots like Jemaa el-Fna Square, Majorelle Garden, or simply enjoy Moroccan cuisine and cafés.
