you will receive a call confirming the weather, time and any other questions you may have. If for any reason the wind or weather forecast does not allow paragliding, we can offer a full refund or choose another day. we fly from a beautiful location where friends, family and spectators are encouraged to join us and take part in the Marrakech paragliding flight experience.
After a welcome tea break on a terrace, with a beautiful view of the Atlas Mountains, to begin this dream experience. on the launch site, with your pilot, you carry all the necessary equipment, and off you go for a beautiful paragliding flight experience in Marrakech above the High Atlas mountains, the arid landscapes of the Kik plateau and the lake lalla takerkouste! this paragliding flight will give you the opportunity to free yourself from all tensions, fears or doubts, it's just total freedom! this unique experience will remain engraved on your memory forever.
You will enjoy an incredible paragliding flight of 20 to 25 minutes above the magnificent landscapes of the High Atlas. you will have a bird's eye view of the famous Berber villages in earth and adobe. During the flight you will be seated in a comfortable harness with a 360 degree view. we will be able to communicate during the paragliding flight. flying with the assistance of an instructor at the controls is not only allowed but recommended! After landing, we will repack the wing and rejoice in being one of the first generations to successfully explore unpowered flight. At the end of the Marrakech paragliding flight, you will land at the same place where you took off.
We normally need about 3 days notice to fit you into our program, but we will try to work with you with less notice. Weekends are the busiest, so the more notice you can give us, the better. Please note that larger groups (6+) will require more notice as we will need to find more tandem drivers for you.
National Insurance requires you to be at least 11 years old and weigh less than 100kg.
If you have a morning flight scheduled, call us the day before to confirm. If you are planning an evening flight, call us the same day so we can check the wind conditions. The weather is unpredictable and difficult to predict, and can change at any time, but our team of experts do their best to produce an accurate forecast. We will give you an exact meeting time when you confirm your Paragliding flight.
There is no official dress code for paragliding, but it never hurts to be prepared. Closed shoes are strongly recommended, as well as long pants. The air is much colder at altitude than on the ground, especially with constant wind, so prepare accordingly. We recommend wearing one more layer than you would need on the ground. Sunglasses and gloves can also be helpful, especially in sunny or cold weather.
We encourage you to bring your family to watch you fly. We just ask them to be aware of other pilots when taking off and landing, and make sure they are not in the landing zone.
Paragliding, like any "extreme" sport, carries an inherent risk that it is important to be aware of. However, like most everyday activities, safety depends on what you do with it. Tandem paragliding is very safe for many reasons: we are very careful about the conditions we choose to fly in, tandem paragliders are among the safest available, and we have a backup parachute in case of emergency. issue. If there is any doubt about safety, we will not fly you. If conditions look questionable, we will always choose the safest route and fly you another day. Most accidents can be attributed to a poor decision made by the pilot, and we do our best to make all the right decisions. Fortunately, paragliding technology has improved greatly over the past five years and the state-of-the-art equipment we fly with makes our job very easy to keep you safe.
